Events:
- Pilot: Frasier is forced to take in his handicapped father, Martin, a retired police officer, and his dog, Eddie. Frasier also hires Englishwoman Daphne Moon as a housekeeper and Martin's physical therapist. ·
- Niles, Frasier's brother, becomes infatuated with Daphne. ·
- Frasier and Niles learn that their deceased mother, Hester, cheated on Martin when they were boys. ·
- Frasier hires Bebe Glaser as his agent. ·
- Lilith visits Frasier in Seattle. ·
- Frasier and Roz are nominated for their first Seattle Broadcasting (SeaBea) award. ·
- Frasier and Niles attempt to write a book about sibling rivalry. ·
